Fees > Enable/Disable Fees
Enable/Disable Fees > Do you want your auction site to be completely free or do you want to charge for it?
The Enable option enables you to charge fees, disable does not.
Set payment type > This is how users will pay the fees. Balance mode is where the users can choose when to pay and live payments is where the user must pay for every action that has a fee. Options: Balance mode or Live payments. The cleaner way of doing things is to enable "Live payments." It means that users must pay outstanding fees immediately for them to be able to have full access to the auction site. If payment is withheld by the user, the user cannjot place bids or list an auction item.
Payment gateway sandbox > You can turn on the payment gateways sandbox to test the payment gateways but make sure to disable the sandbox mode before making your site live. PayPal e.g. does allow users to set up a sandbox payment gateway.
The following settings are only used when in balance mode
Maximum Debt > The maximum debt an account can have accrued before they must pay it back. In other words, you could allow your users to owe you, say, up to £50. Once that level is reached, the user must make a payment to the admin through the payment gateway before further activity on the site can take place for that user.
Signup Credit > Free credit given to an account on its creation. This could be used as an incentive to users.
Suspend Accounts > Suspend Accounts that are over the Debit Limit.
